To support products initiated within existing tourism circuits, in line with regional plans taking into consideration self-sustainability.
Kenya’s competitive advantage lies in its’ diverse natural resources, which is the base on which tourism is developed. To secure this, TTF will support conservation efforts that ensure protection and sustainable management of Kenya’s rich natural resources.
The natural resources will provide the basis for identifying and developing new products, which capitalize on the diverse attractions, such as the Great Northern Frontier with it’s rich landscape or the Great Rift Valley with its natural springs and volcanic activities.
These developments will be guided by carefully devised regional tourism plans, which will determine the optimum carrying capacities of key regions, as well as determine requirements for infrastructure and communication networks or security provisions. Land management systems are also key to ensure the country’s physical capital base is protected and safeguarded.
